Profile
I'm Adi Wiratama Banjarnahor. I came to design strategy through architecture, urban planning, and business, three disciplines that all ask the same question: how do systems serve the people inside them.
My work moves between research and strategy, mapping how people actually behave, finding where systems break down, and designing what fixes them, from early concept through to operational rollout.
I trained at UCL Bartlett and ITB. I've worked across commercial real estate, health-tech, beauty, and urban environments. I care about work that is rigorous, human, and commercially viable.
How I Work
Research
I start by getting close to the problem, talking to users, mapping behavior, and finding where a system actually breaks down for the people inside it.Strategize
I translate research into direction: a clear position on what to build, who it serves, and why it will hold up commercially.Design & Validate
I turn strategy into something tangible, journeys and prototypes, then test early and often, refining against real behavior until it's ready to scale.Background
My background spans three disciplines. Architecture taught me to think spatially and systemically.
Urban design taught me to read how people inhabit environments. Business strategy taught me to make it viable.
Design strategy is where all three converge.
